I decided to try and paint up a new BR50 body (Part #AX4015) for my personal BR50, with an old school 80’s look. Also mounted it up to Brandon’s SC8e to see if it would work. I had to remove the inner plastic roll cage to get it to fit the chassis properly. But, it looks pretty decent. The SC8e body is a little longer. But, the BR50 body is close to being the same size and should be strong enough to take the abuse an SC8e can dish out.

This looks friggin amazing!! Nice old school paint job!! I always liked the look of the BR50 shell more than the SC8 one. Just reminds of those hi-tech trucks racing in the Paris-Dakkar rally. Do you know if the BR-50 shell can fit on a 1/8 buggy chassis instead of a truggy?
I just bought a BR50 and its awsome.Its basicly the Mantis under the trophy truck body with the Protos’s skinny wheels so it should fit with taller body posts.I have seen one with the wider truggy rims/tyres and it looks so TUFF..
