Brandon and I finally got a chance to go shoot some video of the new SCX10 TR’s. We hit up Corona Del Mar State Beach which has a ton of cool lines for any type of crawler.

Enjoy!!

awesome! in the last 3 months i got into RC. I bought a new Losi 8ight, a traxxas slash, a HPI Savage XL and now this. I have to say this is the most fun i have had so far. it is a differnet type of fun becuase its slower but you have to think. i love my scx10 tr to death!!!! thanks Axial!!!!!!

I noticed one of the TR’s fog lights were moved up to the headlights. Were the fog light buckets used or are they different buckets? If they are the fog light buckets, how are they mounted?

    Thanks,

    1. Bender

Brandon actually moved the fog lights to the underside of his frame out front. The headlights he is using is our NVS system with our clear headlight buckets that are included with the clear Dingo body. Here’s a link to his post on RCC about the lights.

What extra parts do I need to buy after the SCX10TR to do the light mod? (please remove my above comment)

    1. Bender

The SCX10 TR comes with a basic light kit already installed. If you want additional lights, like the TR in the video then you will also need our NVS lighting system (Part # AX24251) as well.

Hey guys Ethan here! I just got my scx 10 3 weeks ago and I want to take it to Corona Del Mar Beach too. I know where the beach is, but I want to know exactly where you guys were. Can you please help? Im so eager to try it there!
    Thanks and good luck,
    Ethan

Ps…. I went to oc rc raceway and tried out their rock crawler playground and for 5 bucks it was well worth it! Tons of kids were wanting to try it. And the kids weren’t that bad! The only downside is…. well it didnt really go over or up anything exept the small rocks and the bridge. But in conclusion the scx10 is a durable crawler after taking a real beating and it LOOKS GREAT! Btw nice vid!

      Hi Ethan,
Go to the public parking lot at CDM Beach. As soon as you pay at the booth to park, look to your right and you will see the rocks.

      Thanks

Alright thanks ill be sure to do that
    Happy Trails!

Hey guys i took my scx 10 to a local park and boy, that was fun rock crawling there! Sad thing is… well some woman who didnt even preak half English wanted to try it. So thinking I could trust her I let her drive it. But after taking the remote, she started to drive really fast and crashed it into a pole knocking the U joint for the front, so I tried to get the car back but knowing me nothing came out of my mouth because I thought she might not understand. Eventualy I got my car back and tried to crawl again but thats kind of hard to do with rear wheel drive. So I went back to my house and fixed it using a small Alan Wrench. Once it was fixed I went back to oc rc again and had fun….., Until the U joint slipped off agian :(. Not to worry though because I bruoght my Alan Wrench! But then AT ALL THE MOMENTS the remote batteries went dead so I went back home. Now its fixed and I put new batteries in the remote and it works great! ; ) Sooo Axial one thing I might improve on… well the U joint for the front drivetrain. Thanks. But GREAT TRUCK! Ethan….
