Here is a quick How-To on installing the Axial Light Buckets on a lexan body.
Once you have a good idea of where you want to install them take a body reamer, I use Axial’s Stepped Body Reamer to make two starting holes.
Make sure you don’t go over, the light buckets do have a small lip on them so you have some space. Just take your time and slowly open up the holes to size.

Next I took my X-Acto blade and removed the remaining material.

The Axial Light Buckets are very easy to install and give a really clean finished look.

Then lastly, pop on the lens. I used yellow for the side marker.

That rocks!!!! Hope you dont mind if I use that idea for the side markers and tail-lights on my Dingo body.
Thank you! I don’t mind at all. Let us know how the install goes!
That is sweet. So when we order a light set does it come with the buckets and lenses? or are they separate?
Hey Ed, you buy the light buckets and lenses separate so you have the choice of color. Here are the part #’s: AX80045 Axial Light Bucket Set (Black), AX80049 Axial LED Lens Set - Yellow/Clear (4pcs), AX80053 Axial Light Bucket Set (Chrome)
